Two Ryan Lindsey songs (”Summertime” from White Paper Beds and a new song, “Let’s Go Out”) will appear in the award-winning documentary American Teen. The movie will be in select theaters on July 25 and nationwide in August.

The official soundtrack hits stores this coming Tuesday, July 15 and will feature “Let’s Go Out”. The soundtrack also features music by MGMT, The Ting Tings, Black Kids, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Frou Frou, Cat Stevens, The New Pornographers, Blackalicious and more. You can pre-order the soundtrack at Amazon.com.

If that’s not cool enough for you, Lindsey’s song “Put Your Trust in Ross” will be on a Starbucks Entertainment compilation, Have You Heard, on Tuesday, July 15. The compilation will be on an iTunes Digital Release Card and will be available at all U.S. Starbucks locations (until September 2). The compilation also features Goldfrapp, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Thao, Nada Surf and more.
