Sneak Peek: Tinted Windows

Tinted Windows

As we mentioned last week, Taylor Hanson (Hanson), James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick) and Adam Schlesinger (Fountains Of Wayne) have formed a ’supergroup’ called Tinted Windows.

The band’s self-titled debut will come out on April 21 on S-Curve Records (Joss Stone, Fountains of Wayne, Tom Jones).

“We’re thrilled to be involved with Tinted Windows. The S-Curve team has been involved with the careers of most of the members of this extremely super group, and we’re honored that we’ll get to help bring their collective effort to the world,” says S-Curve founder Steve Greenberg. “They’ve made an amazing record together and I think the music audience will be blown away when they hear it.”

The band will play Bob’s (Cain’s Ballroom side stage) on March 18 before playing a couple shows at SXSW, Bamboozle and along the east coast. Tinted Windows will also play the “Late Show with David Letterman” on April 20.
