The Spy Makes Its Return Next Week!

Radio listeners will be reintroduced to alternative sounds one week from today as 105.3 The Spy makes its return to the airwaves.
On Saturday, TheLostOgle.com received an e-mail pointing them to thespyfm.com, which features a clock counting down “until true alternative returns”.
UPDATE:
The Spy’s twitter account confirms it will be on the air at 12:01am Tuesday morning (11/24)
105.3 The Spy (then KSYY, not to be confused with the old Stillwater 93.7 KSPI) was an Alternative station, airing from December 2002 to June 2004. On June 25, 2004, the Citadel Broadcasting-owned station flipped to Regional Mexican, becoming La Indomable 105.3.
Following the Citadel-ABC Radio merger in June 2007, Citadel sold KINB (the call letters for the current 105.3) and other stations to The Last Bastion Station Trust, LLC in order to comply with the FCC ownership limitations. In January 2009, 105.3 FM changed from Regional Mexican music to an ESPN Deportes affiliate.
The former Spy featured DJs like Ferris O’Brien, Tyson Meade and George Lang and music by The Smiths, Muse, They Might Be Giants, The Sounds, Elefant and others. Let’s hope the new Spy brings more great alternative and indie music to our airwaves.
