The South by Southwest Music Conference released the schedule for 2010 Official Showcasing Bands this week.

There were 11 Oklahoma artists on that list:

• Audra Mae
• Cady Groves
• The City Lives
• Colourmusic
• Dre Murray
• Gum
• The Non
• OK Sweetheart
• Stardeath and White Dwarfs
• The Uglysuit
• Unwed Sailor

Two bands with Okie-connections will also be showcasing at SXSW: School of Seven Bells (features Lawton-native Benjamin Curtis) and The Veils (lived in Oklahoma City for a short time in 2007).

The overall list will fluctuate over the next few weeks and we’ll bring you any news of Oklahoma bands added to an official showcase. If you are an Oklahoma band that will be playing in Austin during SXSW at an unofficial event, please use the comment section to let us in on the details.

We will post a full list of dates and times of Oklahomans playing at SXSW as we get closer.
