The Redbud Revival is looking for a bass player, as Mitch Minnix is leaving the band.

Their requirements for a new bassist are pretty specific:
If you like Neil Young, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Waits, The Jayhawks, The Band, Led Zeppelin, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, My Morning Jacket, Bob Dylan; if you enjoy rehearsing; if you enjoy long drives; if you enjoy whiskey; if you enjoy talking about the universe; if you enjoy talking about records; if you own a respectable bass rig; if you have reliable transportation; if you can sing harmony; if you have a flexible schedule; if you enjoy playing music, even if you don't get paid a dime, then, you've passed the first test, and this might be a worthwhile opportunity for you.

On the other hand, if your main influences are Fred Durst, Tool, Blink 182, Journey, Three Doors Down, Puddle of Mud, or even sleepy-eyed, mope-rock; if you like the "phunk-slap" style; if you are prone to order "another J
äger, dude"; if you own a crate transistor amplifier; if you don't own an amplifier; if a '78 pinto is your only car; if you don't own a pair of boots; if you take part in the dubious endeavor of wearing shorts on stage (or even in public), then you have not past the first test and should relent.

For those interested that passed the first test, drop The Redbud Revival an email.
